South Shetland Islands

After 2 days at sea from South Georgia we arrived at Elephant Island. The island
plays a big role in the Shackleton story, as his men were stranded here for 4.5 months.
But the chain of islands also contains Deception Island and wilderness sites.

Deception Island Entrance, old volcano caldera. Sun came out but still windy.

The next destination was the Wilhelmina Bay.
